Food was excellent and I have nothing but very relaxing memories from this trip. I loved this traditional hotel for its friendly atmosphere and super-friendly staff. Superb service, even though a few employees were poorly trained. Lovely and particularly good location, the free parking was available
My room was actually a little dated.

Perfect options for breakfast. Superbly friendly staff in all areas, and neat room with newspapers and a cake, for instance...

The boar's head hotel is in a beautifull old building n has a gorgeous setting. The staff were super nice n cute. Everything was really clean. The food was solid with a good choice on the menu.
I didn't like that the check-in was charged extra n breakfast was a bit cold. They should have better wifi, it was almost impossible to connect.

After a less than stellar experience in harrogate, this place totally exceeded my expectations! The cozy ambiance and good strolls around ripley felt magical, and the luxurious courtyard accessible room made relaxing easy. The breakfast featured freshly baked croissants, a lovely touch.

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights and really enjoyed the spacious room with the big comfy bed and the delicious breakfast each morning. The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and we loved the cozy lounge with TV on rainy afternoons. The only downside was some noise traveling from other rooms, but it didn’t ruin our overall experience, so I’d definitely recommend taking in the castle while you're there! 😊

Cozy stay with great food!
The vibe was really hospitable, and I loved the cozy bar area. We totally enjoyed chicken pie for dinner, yum! The room was spacious and comfy too, but parking can be a bit tricky sometimes. Still, it's a great spot close to some lovely places.
